The sliding door has started to do its whirring thing whilst we are driving.
Any tips to stop this? I presume it is the electrical contacts in the door - does electrical contact cleaner help? Does shutting the door firmer help?

Re: Door started to whirr a bit
Hi
Yes...it's usually the contacts. No need to shut the door firmer...just clean the contacts and slide the door gently until the motors take over and close the door. Keep cleaning the contacts until the operation is smooth as silk. Mine does the whirring every winter when the temperatures drop and everything gets sluggish. Just make sure all the running tracks are clear , and clean the contacts with fine wet/ dry used DRY
Cheers

In the beginning there was nothing , then God said "Let there be Light".....There was still nothing , but ,by crikey, you could see it better.

Thanks, it closes fine and just whirrs once, however I think it is when we go over a bump etc it makes the noise again.
