folding side mirrors
hi side mirrors open on drivers side only but not on passenger new loom fitted on drivers side a few months ago . any ideas please .

Have they worked since before and/or after fitting the new drivers door loom ?

I'd personally only go so far in trying to find a fault here before cutting my losses and rewiring.
By rewiring, I mean running wires from the power feed to the working mirror under the dash and up to the none working mirror, then cutting the old wires off at the none working mirror and insulating the ends.
This approach should work (I've not done this to my mirrors)but sometimes wiring isn't as straight forward as you might think.

mirrors worked for a few weeks after loom was fitted

That makes it difficult then to suggest any particular places to look, you really need a meter or probe to try to identify where the signals are getting lost.

Maybe there is now a break in the passenger side loom? Should be relatively easy to spot if you remove the insulation around the wires. I've repaired several wires on the drivers side by soldering them back together, and this has held for 2 or 3 years....
