Rear anti roll bar removal

Post by Gripped » Tue Oct 20, 2015 11:13 pm

Planning to remove and repaint as its pretty rusty.

It looks like it should be easy enough if the bolts undo. Is there anything I should be aware of? Is the ARB under tension?

Cheers :D

no. just undo it mate. soak yer nuts first though, if they break off then you have to drill them out and fit new bolts, not a 2 min job. if your fitting new rubbers then just warm em up with a blow lamp then wire brush them clean first, then spray.

Good idea to replace all the rubbers, brackets and drag links at the same time.

Did mine a couple of months ago as one of the brackets had failed.

The rubbers and links are pretty new so I'll clean them up.

Thanks for the tips !
