Hello Bongo comrades,
Just wondering if anyone out there has got the above combination - JAL's Skylift roof plus the Outback rear conversion by Northstar. I'm getting very close to buying the next and final Bongo so weighing up the options very carefully. Specifically wondering if you can stand up at the sink/cooker when inside.
Bit of a long shot but hey ho
Steve

The Skylift roof lifts very high. I can't answer your question but it gives the best aftermarked headroom after the mushroom side lifting roof (also JAL). Someone will be along soon I'm sure.

Thanks Jill! Sorry I didn't get back to your last PM. Bit closer to getting your Bongo

Looking forward to seeing any photos on here when you have it.

Have a look at 'Meet Tonto' in the Chat section!

I have him now.

Most probably I have this combination. If so, no, you cannot stand at the back...

Thanks for letting me know Ignis. That's good to know in a way! Wouldn't worry too much, the smaller space of the Bongo is just something you learn to love a bit more

Rest assured you get a bit more headroom with the Skylift though compared to an AFT.

true, though I have been slightly disappointed by the lack of ventilation in Skylift and not a single window to look at stars.
