replacement radiator

Post by GreenBongo » Sat Sep 19, 2015 9:09 pm

Can anyone recommend a source for a replacement radiator for a 95 TD? Mine has the usual split at the top, the search facility isn't turning up anything specific.

Click 'Bongo Shop', top right, then click 'Cooling System'.

£165 From Ian.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

You can buy pattern parts for as little as £70 or genuine Mazda radiator for round £250. On my previous Bongo I spent the extra on the basis that the original Mazda part had lasted 10+ years which is a good indicator of longevity.

I got a pattern one from Fastrads in S Wales recently. Just over £100 delivered next day when ordered by phone, slightly less on line.

Don't know how long it will last but it is better than the one I took out.

I bought a pattern radiator so I'll just have to wait and see how well it lasts.

http://www.eurocarparts.com/

Suppliers to the Motor Trade stock EIS radiators about £80.00 or less delivered.

I've had a few different radiators and air con parts from this place. No major issues with any of them. Cheap and 2 year warranty.

Bongo one is still going fine after a few years. Cost me more like £60 back then.
