give me a shout nearer the time tony with some times etc, I will help if I can mate.
Thanks Ady. But you know kids they are apt to change their minds at the last minute. Sometime or other I will be going down to Wigan as I have promised my nephew all the unused gas flue pipes that were taken out when I had a woodburner installed. They are cluttering up my garage. Don't know how things are going to work out at the moment. But it will be only one way as far as any lifts are concerned if I drop them off before Silverdale.

What's the situation regarding last minute decisions. Just possible we might try and drive up Saturday morning and possibly stay over Saturday night if no commitments and we're feeling hardy enough. Would probably just kip in the Bongo - no awning, just a toilet tent. If that's not possible without prior notice, we might drive up and have a bite of lunch up there. Then again, will anyone be about during the day on Saturday or will they all be getting plastered at the beer festival

I think we might be happy staying on-site also, as long as it's not deserted.

Whey hey folks....finally recieved confirmation from Gib Farm.
We have 5 hard(ish) standing pitches on the main site for caravans and large campervans. Bookings accepted for a minimum of 2 nights Friday16th & Saturday 17th October £38 for the 2 nights.
We also have unlimited pitches for bongos, small campervans and tents available on the overflow field including room for a marquee/social tent.
You can book either 1 or 2 nights. Grass pitches. A small number of hookups are available but you may have to share. £14-00p per night without hookup £19-00 per night with hookup.
I do not require a deposit with your booking BUT if you book a pitch and don't turn up for whatever reason short of being deceased I'll expect to be paid. I have to give some sort of final numbers by 9th October so plase let me know asap of you are coming.
As usual....Jacobs Join and social on Friday evening so those travelling can eat/drink when they arrive.
Hopefully we'll have a 'community tent' again.
Please see the Gibralter Farm website for the site rules etc.
In particular DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON LEADS WHEN NOT IN YOUR VAN
On Saturday there will be a group womble over to the beer/cider festival at the Woodlands Hotel leaving around 11.30. Food (mainly burgers) available at the festival.
If you want to buy takeaway booze at the festival, I'll drive it back.
On the womble (wobble) back you may want to call in at the village co-op. Again I'll arrange for transport.
Saturday evening there is a very good asian takeaway in the village...I'll get some takeaway menus....plus the usual boozy evening at the campsite.
Just message me on here to book your pitch and I'll do my best to give you your prefrence.
Cheers H
