Post by richieandkerry » Thu Jan 11, 2007 2:29 pm

hello fellow bongaliers. can the rear seat be removed including the runners easily and if so can the middle seat be slid along the track all the way to the rear to give me a more usable space when camping. PS i will be leaving the rear seat in the garage at home as a don't need the bed set up

Rear Seat Removal

Post by andyv » Sun Jan 28, 2007 10:35 am

Hi!
Have the same problem, unsure how to remove the rear seats, at the moment i have the rear seats all the way back with the seat holded over creating a parcel shelf then the middle seat pushed all the way back.
I have tried removing the black runner end stop and sliding the seat out but that did not work!

Er, at the risk of repeating myself, there is masses of information on this very subject already here on the forum.

All you need to do to find it is to get to grips with the somewhat tricky SEARCH facility.

The posts you will find will tell you how you can remove the runners for the rear bench, how to reverse the middle bench and a host of other tidbits.

Good luck!

IF you you use the search facility at the top of the screen and do a search for "seat AND removal" you get 9 results including yours. If you do a search for "rear AND seat AND removal " it narrows it down to 6.

Got the seat and runners out. piece of cake ensure that you remove the steel pins underneath the runner end stops and the runners come out a treat. Then side the front seat all the way to the rear. What a usable space. PS sorry for the stupid question in the first place, Should've just had a go
