Passenger front door locking...

Post by Bongo?? » Sat Aug 01, 2015 12:50 am

Hello again all..
So.....my Dad got his Bongo today, very nice n`all, but one thing we did not notice when we checked it out is that the front passenger door does not lock with the central locking.
It does make a noise, like a `judder`,(that`s the best way I can describe it) but does not attempt to lock.
Obviously there is power there, anyone have any pointers as to what could be wrong?
Its a 125 mile trip to the dealer,so if it can be DIY sorted, all the better.
Thanks in advance all....

Think this ones slightly different, the passenger door tries to unlock at the same time as the others, but just Judders rather than opening, its like the motor is struggling,locks/unlocks fine with key and from inside....

The motor in the passenger door probably needs a clean, or something is jamming it. Take the door card off and inspect it is probably the best solution.
