Importing From UK to Holland

Post by Rutger » Thu Jul 23, 2015 1:37 pm

Hello,

I Have recently moved to Holland and am in the process of importing my bongo here. I am just wondering if any of you might know how this works with the head lights since they are pointing the "wrong" way. (into oncoming traffic)

I have asked a garage and apparently stickers are not sufficient. Can the bulbs be moved to point the other way?

Any advice will be appreciated
Thanks,
Rutger

Hey,
Thanks for the reply.
Yeaht i found that on here and it is usefull apart from my bongo is a 2001 model so i doubt the astra lights would fit.
I am hoping i can maybe somehow bend the bracket or manufacture a new hole so the light faces the right way. but i also think that the mirror unit point the light.
i am going to a garage this afternoon and hopefully they can help me do that. just thought id ask here first incase its been done before (:

You will need new lights, not just a case of bending them a bit, I'm afraid.

The lens gives the light pattern, which is longer along the near side.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.
