Hi all, I have a defunct pop up roof now, it's served its time but need to lock it down. Unfortunately the roof, although safely secured shut, is beeping that it's open, or being opened, anyway it's beeping.
I have unpluged the first roof alarm in the footWell drivers doors under the fuses but there is another sounding at the back of the vehicle.
Does anyone know exactly where it is and how to access it? So I can unplug it. It's somewhere near the back right ashtray as I can hear it.
Thanks in advance.
Roof alarms and where are they situated?

The control unit is behind the rearward panel on the drivers side. Have you considered removing the fuse as it would be easier than pulling the trim panel off?

I did tale out the fuse but it stopped my speedo working so can only really unplug the speakers.
What is the rearward panel? Is that that above the right back wheel inside the cab? Any ideas how to take this off?
Thanks

I think you've got the wrong fuse
. Fuse 12 (30A) just does the roof (unless something is horribly wrong with the electrics). Yes, the big grey panel at the rear there should be some info on the forum about removing it, but as I recall, you need to loosen the front panel first by pulling it away from the side of the van, and then move on to the rear one.

Very sad to hear of a Bongo that may never get it up again. There are things they can do these days to fix that you know
