Hi all,
Ongoing problem with batteries. When we bought the bongo all was fine. The leisure bat and starter all perfect. However, after a while the starter battery started to drain.
It had the original battery so replaced it with a new one. Then replaced the leisure batt. Like for likes.
When I had the bongo serviced I asked the mechanic/bongo expert who checked and there was a blown fuse on the relay next to the fuse box. Right of the steering wheel.
I have spoken to Karl and I know that the split charger is not heavy duty. And I will purchase another and fit. I just want to make sure that this is the issue.
The leisure batt is wired up to 2 things to my knowledge, the lighting at rear and AFT and the stereo.
Here are some pictures.

Also there is a blooming mystery switch, does anyone know what this is?!
Thanks in advance

To track down these problems you really need to use a meter to measure the current drawn by each circuit, otherwise its pot luck in poking around! If you have one then with everything off check the current flowing by pulling each fuse in turn and use the meter to measure the current drawn by the circuit.

OK thanks.
The switch is a dimmer for 240v lights.
I will get an amp meter and do some research. It will be good for me to do some labeling and plan the electrics so I can trouble shoot in the future.
Thanks
Chris

Electric blinds and 12v cigarette lighter sockets are also commonly moved over to the LB. Original 12v lights come off same fuse so usually the front, flourescent in the middle, light in AFT and at rear nearside corner all move together to the LB. However, a conversion could have made any bespoke variation to the circuits.dante231 wrote: ....

Yes it is 'bespoke' lol. It is just the lights and the stereo. There is one wire that goes under the dash and connects to a green fuse next to the standard fuse box.
Another wire comes from the leisure batt wiring and splices into the stereo.
I need to map this out!!
