Which Pipe?

Post by Ian » Mon Jun 15, 2015 6:44 pm

Received from Colin in Taunton:

I'm struggling to get a part for my Bongo. Can you help? Have a Mazda Bongo Friendee, 2.5 diesel, automatic. The first photo shows where the part is situated in the engine. The second photo shows the actual part. Where the metal pipe joins the bracket is a water leak, so I guess I need a new bracket. Need the part number and the name of someone who could supply it. Any help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know the Lush project page and/or the part number?

Must be a late model, the pipe is WLB315520 (15-520A) on the link below, to do with the EGR system

briwy may have a spare one as he ripped all that off his bongo. the bongo will need to be bled correctly after fitting the new one.

briwy may have one he doesn't need as he's Bongoless now. If so it could be relayed to Stourport and onwards next weekend.

Failing that try George at Bongo Spares, and failing that a Mazda dealer who will supply parts for grey imports, not all of them will. If you're struggling on that, I can get from Warrington Mazda and relay to you via Stourport.

I'd be tempted to get it tig welded. Try western fabrications at priorswood or somewhere similar

Thanks for all the suggestions.
Tig welding has been mentioned to me before. Might look into that first.
If not, then might try briwy.
