Faulty temperature gauge on 2.0L
I have noticed that the temp gauge does not move at all on my 2.0, should I be worried or could this just be a temp sender faulty, could anyone advise where the sender is located, so I can test.
Thanks
Thanks

There no good when they do work
Go for the added extra of a engine temp alarm
Eblay item number 111052553849
Other makes and suppliers available
I hope you have a low coolant alarm as well

Thanks for the advice, no I don't have the coolant alarm :-/ (will look into it though) but I was just concerned that there could be another issue why the gauge doesn't work!

Does it move at all or does it remain off the bottom of the scale? Some movement could indicate the thermostat is stuck open or been removed. I do recall seeing several threads on here in the past with other 2 litre owners also reporting their gauge hardly moves. It may be worth a search to see if there were any solutions.

It just remains off the bottom of the scale, just like when ignition is off.
