HELP: Where can i buy a diesel filler cap

Post by mikeonb4c » Sun Jun 07, 2015 10:18 pm

Yup, left in my local filler station. Is it possible to buy a pukka replacement or will I need a breakers yard.

Never ever done that before. Old age creeping up on me :(

Thanks chums.

Ian does locking ones, or PM me your address and I'll mail you my spare.

Edit: May also be worth asking at the petrol station, many have a selection behind the counter. 8)
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

After dealing with a silly b*gger on ebay (you have to arrange your own courier for a diesel filler cap - huh!?!) I thought I'd try George on his bongospares website. He had one, the search facility found it at once (unlike most on some very big sites that find nowt!) and I'd set up an account and paid for the item (including delivery) in no time. He may be a scrap dealer, but I found his website very impressive indeed. Totally painless. He'll be getting my business again ;-) Thanks George, if you're reading this, and to those on BF who pointed me to him. Give yourselves a round of applause ha ha =D> =D> =D> =D>
