Does anybody know what size the oil filter is on a diesel engine? I am looking at buying a removal tool and there are different sizes, even for adjustable ones, and I beleive that the Bongo oil filters are quite large.
Thanks.

I would imagine you just ask for the tool required to remove an oil filter from a 2.5 diesel? When I've ordered a filter I just specify the engine and size and year, I've never used filter size? Hope you get sorted!

I've got a Draper chain filter wrench (still widely available for under a Tenner) - had it for many years plenty big enough for Bongo Diesel filter.

Re: Oil Filter - What Size?
Get a strap wrench and it will do up to 12cm diameter which is more than big enough for a Bongo.

I've got a strap wrench which is good for oil filters with limited access but I've found simple oil filter pliers much quicker and better. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ADJUSTABLE-12 ... 3aa7383b8f
