changed tps (code 12 ) now got code 63? cant clear code

Converter lock-up solenoid valve? what the heck is this.

its driving ok.

will try and clear the code by removing earth and pressing brake

Those codes don't appear on the factsheet as far as I can see:

May be relevant is so much as they contain "Converter lock-up solenoid valve"

The idea of pressing brake pedal is to drain any residual charge from the circuits so any live codes are lost. I'd be tempted to plug old TPS in (loosely, not fitted to pump) & see if the code changes. May be the replacement TPS is causing problem.

pluged the old one back in and got 12 back again so old tps was up the spout..

and 63 still there when new one(2nd hand) one in place

just been for a little drive and it seems alls good part from cant down shift of the little button on the gear select handle..

would the Converter lock-up solenoid valve be within the soleniod pack you can buy
