Crank Pulley replacement

Post by roosmith » Mon May 04, 2015 9:18 pm

Another weekend of towing and this time the crank pulley is slipping even on the flat.

So come home and ordered one however I don't have the tools or strength to do this.

A) does someone have the locking tool and spanner or
B) does anyone know someone who could do this for me?

Money waiting!

Thanks Northern. That is the post that made me think it was for someone else!!! Thank you for the offer of loan of kit. It might have worked, as my garage buddy is my father in law in Mossley, so could have called in for them however neither of us fancies doing this on axle stands or ramps for that matter! We've admitted, to ourselves as much as anyone, that this is a job too far anymore (as both of us have arthritis!).

After the deafening silence the local garage have it booked in, they're happy and confident they can do it. Watch this space.
