rear heating controls

Hi guys, awaiting the arrival of our side conversion, but i'm wondering are we able to purchase an extension cable for the rear heater controls so that they can be fitted to the side of the kitchen? or is it a case of crimping wires and extending it ourselves?

DIY if its the electronic version.
