plastic bottle/conduit type thing in panel behind rear arch

Post by cookan » Mon Apr 20, 2015 9:53 am

Time to get my rear arches done and having removed the panels I saw what look like some sort of access channel that appears to exit at the sides of the car by the bumper...I'm sure it'll become self evident when I get the bumper off but wondered if anyone knew what they are for...

It's a vent with a one way flap to allow air to flow thru the van. Otherwise when you have the blowers on, or opened the front windows while driving, you would eventually build up a higher pressure inside the van :).

Anybody know what it looks like from outside of the van?
