waste water pipe route

Post by ginger rat » Sun Mar 29, 2015 7:45 pm

Evening all, has anyone with a rear conversion routed their waste water pipe out of the van ? I was thinking of cutting a hole in the vent grille that is at the bottom near the tailgate and threading it thru to come out somewhere near but obviously avoiding the exhaust. Is this possible, has anyone done this ?

Ours is brought out in that area, but not by the vent itself, in the floor about 9"-12" inwards and about 15" from the rear, just behind the spare wheel and in-front of a towbar if fitted.

Mine goes thru the hole formerly used by the cigarette lighter socket and then down thru a hole drilled in the floor behind the wheelarch and it comes outs behind the bumper. I can then use a collapsible bucket, or if we're parked on grass, we generally let it drain away.

Decided to go with the shortest, easiest route which was straight down through floor between the spare wheel & tow bar similar to yours Geoff. Thanks for the advice
