Front axle seal leak

Post by Titan1995 » Tue Mar 03, 2015 1:20 pm

I have an oil on the front diff output shaft tube.

I presume seals are available?

Would like to know of any pitfalls I may find while completing this work.

I will be dropping the whole of the front drive train down to facilitate repair.

Also will be swapping the steering rack as this time.

Does anyone have a schematic of the front axle on a 4x4 Bongo?

Armed with the part number you should be able to get them from Mazda UK. Or if you are having difficulties we can sort it for you via the Partfinder service in the members area.

before you rip it apart check the diff breather isnt blocked with road crud or underseal, if it cannot breath it will force oil past a good seal, and a new replaced seal.
