Reminder to check your scuttle drains!
All,
Thanks to the excellent advice from here I was alert enough to notice when I opened the Bongo's bonnet this morning that the scuttle was full of water. Poking a big cable-tie down the hole in the middle soon cleared it, but could have caused a lot more problems if left unchecked.
After all the rain and autumn leaves now is a good time to check this drain is clear.

The link in the first post gives the details.
Anyway, the problem area is the trough at the bottom of the windscreen. You can see it if you open the bonnet. In the middle of the trough is a drain hole that connects to a hose. It is really important that this hole/hose doesn't get blocked. If it does then all water falling on the windscreen will overflow the trough in to the Bongos electrical systems.
