Tailgate struts

Post by Bongopatrol » Thu Dec 28, 2006 3:41 pm

Hi all hope you had a good christmas ,the problem I have is that I have now fitted a rear ladder but now with the extra wait on the tailgate it seems to sag a little and I worry that it may fall completely or that I will walk into it.
Does anyone know where I could get uprated tailgate struts or possibly even get the originals regassed.
Cheers all.

A quick use of the search facilty with "gas AND strut" brought back this thread which starts about the roof struts & then moves on to a supplier who can re-gas anything

Well Guys & Girls just to let you know that I got my tailgate struts re-gassed by SGS engineering for £47.00 returned to the door I have just re-fitted them & they work a treat.
Anyone else with the same problem contact Andy & I'm sure he will sort you out with an A1 service.
