Central locking stopped working ? electrical gremlins lol

Hi I have 1995 2.5td I've only had it 3 weeks loving it. I seem to have some electrical gremlins. Initially the light in my pop top didnt work but does now, the little light inside the back of the van wasnt working i changed the bulb still nothing now is suddenly working. For the last 3 days the central locking has stopped working. I changed the fuse but this has not fixed it. Any ideas? Thank you Sarah

usually related to breaks in side loom were it passes from door to body

Do you have a leisure battery fitted?
If so it was probably flat but has been charged by a few runs.

Hi I dont think I have a leisure battery, there are 2 batteries but i think 1 is for winter starting or something like that. Can you tell me what you mean by door loom and where to find it, how will i know if there is a problem there would it be obvious?

big black clump of wires comes out of door and goes into cab hard to miss

usually cannot see damage without chopping it open
