Water pump replacement a car-lift job?

I have the tools, but I don't want to do it in the winter! :-0 . It's also annoying my MOT is in Feb. I reckon I might borrow a mate's barn, and do it all in a day, then double MOT my Bongo next year to get the MOT back into summer time!

I've got the fact sheet - I kept a copy when I was a paying member.

Yeah, says to remove the alternator, as I have -& now I wonder, if I hadn't done that would the pulley have been easier to lock so that I could get the 4 bolts out!?

You have to crack the 4 bolts initially, easiest way is with all belts in place and tensioned. YOur need to remove the alternator to get the pump out, as it won't fit through the gap.
