Indicators just quit - hazzard warning light still work, so bulbs are ok - everything else still works as far as I can tell.
Where is the flasher unit hiding? (asuming its a seperate one form the hazzard one). Are these fused seperatly form other stuff?

Re: Indicators just quit
pretty sure its a seperate fuse, off the top of my head its number 11 in the dash fuse panel. certainly would be the 1st thing to check
Re: Indicators just quit
The flasher unit is hiding behind the Bonnet and Fuel flap pull handles, if you look up at that position it is very easy to spot, the fuses are No2 --10amp for Hazards and No11 --10amp for Indicators.(in cab)

This fuse powers the actual lights themselves, so should be OK;
The indicator switch wiring is protected by this fuse, so it could be this one;

Thanks , it was the indicator fuse. Must get round to buying some spares, reparing micro fuses is a pain !

Agreed. They are a s*d to solder unless you use a very thin bit and keep wiping the melted plastic off it. I've done it in the past but now concede that they are designed not be repaired. I still rewire glass tubular fuses, even though I've got drawers full of new ones. Some of us are brain wired that way!Idris wrote:Thanks , it was the indicator fuse. Many thanks to Rita and Geoff for quickly coming up with the locations. It's much easier to identify the flasher unit and relays etc. when they are working. A minute spent with an ear in the footwell can be a good investment.
