Quick question what paint is used on 96 2.5td

I am in the process of buying some Chaste White in 500ml tin - need to know if OE is Acrylic or two pack - can anyone clarify please

Doesnt really matter whats on it originally, its what you want to do now that counts. Probably 2 pack on originally. You can get it in a straight 2k or a polyester basecoat requiring a clear coat laquer on top. As for aerosols you can't get 2k in aerosol for obvious reasons. your in luck, my mrs has an acrylic chaste white bongo too.

i use this, its really good, and off the shelf, its a perfect match for the bongo. lacquer over after and it will be spot on.

Thanks guys a local supplier has 2k and 1k options - I have gone for the 1k and a quality thinner - using on the mirror housing
