Instrument panel

Post by Pompeysteve » Sat Nov 15, 2014 4:17 pm

Hi,
I hope someone can help. I'm fitting instrument overlays in my v6 2001 petrol. I need to identify the live feed for my instruments, anyone know which/where it is?.
Cheers,
Steve.

Presumably you need switched (with the ignition) rather than live all the time? If you are taking the whole cluster out you will find connections on the rear marked IG which you can use. See the bottom left screw where I have taken the feed for low coolant alarm:

Thanks,
I've tapped into what I think is the live and nuteral(red and black) on the centre plug on the instrument cluster. All seems to work.....no fire yet!!!!.
Thanks again.
