I appear to be having some trouble with my leisure battery. She (Betty) has been in the garage three times in as many weeks. At first they thought it was because she didn't have a splitter on the battery, but after further investigation they found one. They have taken a fuse out of the leisure battery and it isn't draining the main car battery any more. Before, I put her back in the garage for the fourth time, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
In short, the leisure battery is draining the main car battery! Many thanks, Kim

how old is it is it holding a charge
Re: Leisure Battery Problems
Sounds like the Split Charge Relay has stuck in the closed position. When the engine is off the two batteries should not be connected (Normally)..

Re: Leisure Battery Problems
What split charge have you got? Is there a Zig unit in the conversion. If so, check its not left on Touring setting as it will connect both batteries in parallel.
Re: Leisure Battery Problems
A bit more information required. If everything was OK until recently it may be that the split charge relay has failed and needs to be replaced. Without knowing your set up it is difficult to say more.
