321 Away Rear Conversion

Post by Optimist » Tue Oct 21, 2014 7:38 pm

Hello Fellow Bongonauts ,

Just wanted to pick the collective brains...I've acquired a second hand rear conversion from 321 Away with the fridge on the near side and I wanted to get twin box seats and table (to drop down to form the bed ) as made by Tranzwagon.
The problem is the fridge door would be blocked by the box.

The original 321 away version fits with the two rear gull wing seats with adjustments made to them.

Has anyone got the same conversion and made adjustments or just kept the two folding seats ?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have this rear conversion, but not the gull wing seats. In mine I have a box made and fitted by 321 Away which will enable the fridge door to be opened. This makes a double bed with the middle seat reversed and the front seats, leaving just enough room to open the fridge door. The box also opens to make a longer double bed from just the middle seat but blocks the fridge.

I bought my conversion second hand and had it fitted by 321 Away who added the box. They also added a table w.hich I never use as I find it gets in the way of access to the conversion

Ok thanks a lot
So does the box open up into the middle as it were instead of the table ?
I guess it could hinge on the same brackets as the seats ?
I hoped to improve the "built in " storage with a box on each side instead of the seats.

Cheers
