Totally puzzled..
the rear roof light is very dim. This is with both the original tube bulb, and an LED replacement. Occasionally it bursts into life, as it should do, but quickly reverts to a 'glower'. Have sprayed switch cleaner in there, jiggled and jiggled, taken apart and checked all connections, but no luck.
Interior lights, 12v sockets and radio are running off the LB, which shows 10v without engine running. Other interior lights are ok, it's just the rear roof light that's acquired this problem. Presume not a fuse problem, as it does work, but not 'up to speed'.
Suggestions gratefully received..

Agree, 10v is too low. Give the LB a proper charge and see how it goes.

lB is only 18 months old, has Willington kit fitted, but thanks for the suggestion, will try that.

Assuming LB is not at fault, either it's not being charged correctly or something is draining it. If you start the engine and the interior light goes bright then you know the split charge is doing something.

Re: Rear roof interior light..
Mine packed up after many years of service due a broken wire in the relay but it was easy to repair and I also added an LED to show it was charging (as was standard with the newer models). If you are very careful not to touch anything on the chassis, get something like a piece of thick wire or a screwdriver and short the two big terminals together under the unit. That will bypass the relay and connect LB to SB and the voltage should go up.
