HI
Can anyone please tell me the torque figures for the water pump bolts?
I've Trawled through all related topics and all i have found is a post from a guy that recommended 118 lbs/in....is this correct? He came up with this figure by trial and error on an old block.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Water pump bolt torque figures
I don't have the manual to hand, but it may help to know whether its 2.0 petrol, 2.5 petrol or 2.5 diesel. There is a factsheet in the members area which is wonderfully vague, but is perhaps good general guidance:
I did not know the torque setting so I did it up pretty tight using the ‘¼ turn’ method (once it is just hand-tight, tighten each nut/bolt a quarter turn in a clockwise manner until it feels tight; don’t overdo it though)
Perhaps one for future revision?

Thanks for the help guys!
Good shout with the Bongo Forum link Rita.
For anyone else searching for the torques, It indicates a figure of 19-25lbs/in for the bolts and 19-22lbs/in for the stud nuts.
Thanks again.
