temperature gauge stuck.

Post by Dodgey » Sat Sep 20, 2014 9:52 am

My gauge starts at 1/3rd, even when cold and pretty much stays there.

I have a modified gauge I think. I have a small black box under the dash with a screw adjustment for the alarm based on temperature.

First thing to check. Sender?

The box you describe sounds like a Mason alarm. Very good little unit and not known to be problematic. You could disconnect it to eliminate it being the cause. I've probably got the wiring details somewhere if you need it.

Yeah. I'll test the sender first. I'm guessing I'm looking for something plugged into the rad.?
