Type of Fuel Cap?

Post by Annandale » Wed Sep 10, 2014 6:44 pm

I managed to leave my fuel cap at a garage. Luckily the next one had a selection of caps that other people had left so I found one that suited for free ( thanks kind laddie at Gleaners Kyle of Lochalsh! =D> )

Does it matter what kind of cap I use? the Bongo book says only use Mazda ones.

I can't remember if it needs to be vented or not, Club Shop does a locking one, but it could be a Mazda owner lost that one.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

The petrol and diesel ones are different, but you can pick the correct one up one eBay quite readily.

You Need to fit a cap with a Vent Valve incorporated .
