Window help

Post by bonglos » Mon Aug 04, 2014 9:24 pm

Help please. Due to head to France this weekend and front windows on blink. Drivers side switches are broken and passenger side doesn't work either. Have sourced drivers switches from ebay but any ideas as to why they failed welcome. Checked fuses and all seemed fine but does anyone have a guide as to which fuse is which? Thanks,

The cables breaking in the door loom is usually the problem

As Gasy says, most likely the loom where it passes from the A pillar to the driver's door.

Simple fix with a soldering iron.
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.
