Hi.
I have had a tin top Bongo for a few years and love it. But I now wish I had the elevating roof. I don't really want to change the vehicle, so does anyone know of any companies who will convert the roof. I am not worried about it being electric. It is a new shape (2001) model.
I have looked at JAL and really like the slimlime manual lift roof, but they only convert their own vehicles.
Cheers
Ben

You can buy a kit for under £1700, but as cutting holes is a pretty major structural change that your insurance company may not like, you'd be better off getting it fitted professionally.
