If you don't have a split charge relay, then you have to put the switch into the appropriate position. You don't want to leave it on Touring when you don't have the engine running otherwise you will flatten both batteries with the fridge etc.

The extra controls look to be for Eberspacher diesel heater.

Thanks for the pic - interesting your choice of colours is exactly like ours - grey sides and 'carbon fibre' effect tops, but are your trims different colours? Nice idea about the on / off switch, what are the other buttons on other side then, below 12v socket - is that a battery level gauge - take it you put those in yourselves also.[/quote]

Yes, as Simon said they are for the Eberspascher heater.
The trims are all the same, just the way the lights shining on them
