Won't start in HOT weather!?
I bought my bongo about 12 months ago and have had nothing but problems. The most recent issue is that it seems really reluctant to start in the exceptionally hot weather we are having at the moment. It turns over fine so don't think it is the battery but it just doesn't seem to want to actually start. Has anyone else had this problem and can anyone help?

Hi,I'm just had the same problem,it would turn over fine but would not fire up, a new glow plug fuse and then a glow plug relay solved the problem.........Paul

You need to check that the injectors are actually getting fuel. I doubt very much if the heater plugs not working would cause that problem in this Weather unless the compressions are Low.
No fuel No Go.

You could also try removing the Fuel filler cap, owing to the hot Temperatures the suction line NRV might be getting locked .
