Aircon belt

Hi

My air con belt is missing. Is it as simple as getting another one and fitting it or is there something common that causes this, eg am I going to get the same thing happen again?

It might just have broken, or been removed if the compressor bearings are shot, the belt wheel only engages with the compressor when powered on so remember to turn AC on before spinning the wheel if possible by hand.
