Hi - any help appreciated! I've had a Bongo for a few months. It's fitted with a coolant alarm that goes off every few weeks (3 times to date). The level has only ever dropped slightly (not below the low mark) and I've topped it up with just a little water on each occasion.
My question is whether this is normal or an indicator of an underlying problem? And also, how long is it safe to continue topping up with water? (like I say, it's only been very small amounts....)
Many thanks for any help any one can give!

Re: Coolant alarm goes off every few weeks
If the coolant is dropping down towards the low mark ... The alarm is telling you exactly what it is designed to do.......Low Coolant !!!! The sensor for the alarm is half way between the Low and Full....once the level gets down to the screw it will alarm........you need to work out where you are losing coolant from and fix it........
