Electrical observation (fuel meter reads with no key in?)

Is that normal in Bongos? I have not noticed it before but realize it is showing the
Diesel level without any key in the ignition.
They call me light foot.

Yes mate
Fuel gauge stays we're it is when you turn ignition off
Gas safe heating engineer / plumber if you need any advice just shout.

It's to make it easy for thieves to see whether it is worth nicking the car/fuel.
