Thanks for the reassurance Bob and Muz, I'm not fretting now
Not planning to bring guitar this year, just some dusty old books. I could threaten to read one of those in public

You try and add a bit of healthy eating amongst all the bbq's and pot noodles and it haunts you forever. I'm leaving the broccoli at home this time and having a barbie, pity you cant make it Dave.

Anyone else hear the reference to the Bongo Bash and Bongonaughts etc etc on Radio 2 this morning? I missed the finer details but when I heard 'Bongonaught' my immediate response was: 'I am a Bongonaught'. Enjoy the Bash everyone!

Bad news for all at the bash..

...I've got the weekend off so will be driving down to the bash tomorrow complete with tiny small tent. Hope there is room for me? Looking forward to sampling everyones hospitality and catering.
cheers

Was hoping to be there tomorrow night but my fellow Bongonaught (Jack aged 9) managed to fall off a 6' wall on Tuesday night and break his wrist quite badly!!
A quick reconsideration means that plan B is to set off early sat morning and get there in time for the coach trip to Gaydon (he likes classic cars) and then just one night for us.

Well we're here, and its beautiful. Unfortunately my new alternator packed up en route, which was not beautiful. But the wonderful philbongopist Iain de Bongomeister was able to stable us near a resuscitation hook up, and Super-Ade and the Incredible Geoff provided diagnosis and charger. So we're hoping that, being a diesel, we can get home on Sunday as long as we don't use unnecessary electrical services.
