Rear Drop Links

Post by stuc » Mon Jun 16, 2014 12:48 pm

Can anyone tell me which Ford Galaxy model year rear drop links fit on the Bongo?
I got the info from the compatible parts list and it just says Ford galaxy but not which model.
I just got some Vectra front drop links this morning from Euro car parts OE spec for £15 the pair. Worth trying for that much i think.

Don't know about the galaxy ones but heard the Rover 800 are a near fit, what length were the front links that you got from Eurocarparts..

Same length as one's that came off, it was 2005 vectra ones that I got. I might take a rear one off and see if Euro car parts can match it. I will report back when done.
Done front and rear anti roll bar bushes and front drop links today, Van feels much better no knocks now.

Do you have the length at the moment, making adjustables and don't have the vehicle to check.

Thanks

245mm from centre to centre of the ball joint.
I have the old one if you need it.
This is the front one though.

Hi Rita, just out of interest why would you want adjustable drop links?

Ok, I had a friend (not many) that required two links urgently MOTT, I had two I think they were SAAB adjustable in the workshop but did not have the data to set them to the required setting.
