I have just got the Bongo out of mothballs to get ready to sell it, new battery & all is well - sort of. The central locking no longer works - it was fine when last used but now does nothing when the key is turned. Fuse is OK (fuse no 4 according to the info I have). 1998 2.5d 4x4 Freetop.
Any ideas anyone?

battery in keyfob
Re: Central locking not working - ideas please
You also need to check the Green 30Amp in the top row as that one provides the power to operate the solenoids.
Another possibility is that if you have a flat L/B then the top row left fuse 10 Amp will be connected to it and that controls the switching ....

Could it be the classic fail where the loom goes into the door?

Re: Central locking not working - ideas please
The l/b was probably flat but with the engine running (drove it for about 8 miles) the l/b powered circuits are working so I know that is being charged & doing its job. No 4 fuse is the green 30amp as described & is OK. I don't have a key fob, only a key.
Someone suggested the relays go bad, any idea where/which one it is?
Thanks for all the suggestions so far.

The relays are here;

Click the orange box for the electronics involved, the relays can be replaced, but I wouldn't put them at the top of my suspect list, drivers door wiring loom is perhaps more likely as there are three possible wires that could cause faults, the supply to the switch, then the two wires from the switch to the door relay module.
