Engine position makes cabin hot ?

Post by BongoBongo123 » Sat Jun 07, 2014 11:26 pm

When driving does the inside of the vehicle get hotter than a camper with engine at front.
A good question from the wife there.
They call me light foot.

Not as much as you might think. My first Bongo was a diesel and that seemed to run a little hotter than my current V6 petrol. If the engine bay gets too warm, there is a scavenger fan mounted in front of the engine that kicks in to cool it down. Any additional heat is a bonus in the winter, and you have air conditioning for the summer if it gets too hot.

I've never found it a problem. 8)
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.
