I've booked a "Bongos and Friends" meet at Eastnor Deer Park for the last weekend of September. This will our third year. £6.50 per unit per night. Tap and tank only. You must have your own loo. Dogs and firepit welcome. More details later in the summer. Put it in your calendars!

Well, the last few Meet were ok, so I'll see how we're fixed.

I'm not going to put our names forward for this one. That way we'll probably be able to make it

The meet: Friday 26 to Monday 29 September - campsite usually closes on the last Monday in September. Please Google Eastnor Castle/deer-park-campsite as each forum has different rules about URLs.
Facilities: drinking taps, grey taps and somewhere to dump your business!
Allowed: firepits and BBQs off the ground, well-behaved dogs (naughty dogs to stay on lead please). Please bring ready-chopped wood to burn.
Suggestion: gazebo or two in case of rain?
Walking: Great walking around the Deer Park, up onto the southern end of the Malverns, into Ledbury (circular) where there’s some nice pubs, and Eastnor Castle itself. Ranger usually provides money off tokens for the Castle entrance.
Fishing: you’ll need to speak to the ranger whether a licence is required.
You’ll be welcome to join us on a circular walk to Ledbury and back on the Saturday, usual start 11am, incorporating a lovely pub (that does good food) in the centre and the Saturday market. Real ale and all that! Note: there are no buses to my knowledge to come back on! NB that was last year’s walk, so other plans may come out.
Please note the directions instructions on the Eastnor Castle website if you haven’t been there before.
I would be grateful if you would please let me know which nights you are planning to stay so I can be prepared and also whether you can bring a gazebo/firewood. Pay me on arrival (£6.50 per night per pitch). This post is being put on more than one forum, so please reply to the thread with your information and I’ll collect names for the list.

Hi Jilly,
Hoping to get there, but my Dad's very ill at the moment so not sure what's happening in my world just now.
If numbers aren't limited, I will let you know nearer the time.
Gave you a wave as I passed you on M6.
Best wishes, Marion.
