Vacuum pipes on engine disintegrated... Where suppose to go?

Post by langtoftnick » Wed Jun 04, 2014 8:29 pm

Looking at my engine I see a disconnected T piece in a vacuum hose, a disintegrated T piece lying in the engine bay and some broken bits of vacuum pipe..... I have no idea where it's all supposed to go and connect together and can find no diagrams on the net anywhere.

I have no way of posting photos here that I can see but I have some which I can email to anyone who might be able to help.

Is it running OK?

Could they be old pipes which have been replaced?
Take a torch, toilet roll, and tea bags.

Seems to run ok, but the open T piece is no blanked off, and there is another stub from the block which appears open too.

Any diagrams anywhere anyone?

You will need some 3.2mm vacuum hose... motor factors for about £4 for 2 meters plus use Windscreen Washer adapters... if the green one way valve has gone (13-995) 0n the lush projects diagram use http://www.altecautomotive.co.uk/screen ... 2059-p.asp one of these....
