side door hardware.
our sliding door had got a little noisy , so out with the lubricant this morning and job done. but ... the outer runner seems a little "slacker" than I remember from the last time I had a close look. should the section that sticks up into the top of the channel have a guide or bush of some sort , or should there be a few mm of in and out movement?

Yes they should have rollers/wheels.

I think the top one is a nylon wheel rather than metal bearing. Mine has quite a bit of movement too so it sounds fairly normal.
