Rear passenger side wheel sheared bolts

Hi
Started to have a grinding sound every revolution when I got home toke the wheel nut cover of and 3 sheared bolts with nuts fell out
Hmm best not to drive that I think
So now I need to replace the hub I presume and possibly the bearing

As it's a 2.5 td 4wd is there anything special I should look out for
And any ideas where I can get one
Also need to replace front hrs bearin/wishbone as have the clicking when turning full lock

I'd also check your other 3 wheels
Sounds like over tightening of wheel nuts at some time

If the hub is ok, you can just buy the bolts for £6.35 from club shop. May be worth changing the others too as they may have been stressed too much. You can get all the commonly needed suspension and drivetrain parts too: http://www.igmaynard.co.uk/bongo/mercha ... suspension

i dont know whether you have steel wheels or alloys fitted but what you may need to know is that alloys have nuts for alloys, and the steel wheels require nuts for steel wheels,they are a different shape at the seat. it may have the wrong nuts fitted------seek advice.

sounds like you may have steelies on.

I wonder if people who have alloy road wheels but a steel spare are aware of this?

As long as the taper is the same, the nuts should be compatible. The Bongo was sold with alloys as an option but steel space saver spare wheel as standard, yet Mazda did not provide 5 additional nuts to use with it.

Thank you all ,I have replaced the bolts but have one nut that just doesn't seem to tighten I think it's still pulling in the seat ,does anyone know the torque setting for the nuts ?

Wheel nuts are 120-150Nm (117-147 to be pedantic)...i tend to do 150. never had any issues seating them tho..
