does anyone has a source for mirrored privacy film that they would recommend ? My bongo has it fitted to the rear windows and also tailgate but due to a few splits and bored children the splits have become holes and I'd like to replace the film. I've searched around and most places say it's not suitable for cars for some reason (I think this maybe because not all is heatshrinkable so won't work on curved glass). There's a supplier in Asia that lists precut film but the postage cost makes it too expensive and to be honest I don't really need to re do the tailgate so am happy to just self cut the rear windows and if they're flat, I don't see the need for heatshrinkable film...
Suntek seem to be one the best from what I've read but I'd appreciate comments from anyone with experience of mirrored film..
thanks,
Ant.

I assume you have tried Ebay?
I fitted the black stuff, back window was a pig buts sides were easy, mine is slightly different tints compared to the old stuff but you cant tell from the outside

yeah...I saw lots on ebay..one had the choice of mirrored, silver reflective and Solar reflective without explaining the difference between the 3, another had reflective but didn't say how much it was tinted etc etc... always best to go with a recommendation..failing that I think I'll be opting for Suntek Silver 20

Some places will send a sample out so you can get the correct shade
Re: mirror/reflective privacy film
just received suntek silver 20 from luxico and fitted to the rear side windows. looks good to me. I took the windows out and wife fitted (she's a dab hand at window film after bomb proofing 100 panes of greenhouse glass!). Easy to do but pig to get rid of dust from an old dirty window so there's the odd imperfection..also needed to be careful doing the screws up as they do have a tendency to drag/twist the film..but it looks better from inside than if I'd attempted to cut around the mounts.
